Overview

The Mental Health Services Directory (the Directory) has been designed by AISNSW to provide member schools with clear information about a curated selection of services available in their region.

Access to the Directory enables schools to identify the most appropriate external services according to the service type, age group, the threshold for the support provided, and provide contact details that schools can access and share with students and their families.

Member schools may access the Directory using their AISNSW login.

Which services are included in the Mental Health Services Directory for NSW independent schools?

The Directory provides a curated list of services, staffed by specialists and professionals, who have been identified as providing age-appropriate, evidence-based services focused on supporting student mental health.

Services listed in the Directory have indicated they specialise in supporting school-aged students with mental health difficulties and have demonstrated a basic level of familiarity and competence in working with this community. AISNSW does not recommend or endorse specific services, but all services listed on the Directory have been reviewed by AISNSW prior to their inclusion.

I am a service provider.

How can I be included in the Directory?

Apply online using the button below.

Complete the application form (allow 5-10 minutes to complete).

A member of the AISNSW Student Services team will review your application. This may include a phone conversation to find out more information about the service.

You will be advised of the outcome within four weeks of submission.

The service I work for is listed in the Directory.

How do I update these details?

Services can update their details if they have:

  • Moved service locations.
  • Opened any additional service locations.
  • Changed their contact details.
  • Modified the services they provide (such as changes in ages treated, threshold for service, etc).
  • Ceased operating and wish to be removed from the Directory.
